No good pictures

I took exactly 42 pictures this week. It was, after all, my birthday, Katelyn's birthday, valentine's day and Mia turned 4 months old. If ever there was a picture worthy week, this was it. However, NONE OF THEM ARE GOOD!!! Ugh. This is a brand new camera, but it stinks. I'm ready to drop upwards of my life-savings (good thing I'm not worth much right now) on a new camera. Any suggestions? Jen? Rachael? Kim? All my friends with good cameras? HELP!

Sometimes the setting on the camera is messed up. I am not quite sure, but I know one time our camera was taking blurry pictures and Warren fixed the settings on the camera to have it take pictures with higher pixels. I hope that helps alittle- GOOD LUCK!!

Check to see if your camera is on auto focus or manual focus - you might have a little button that switches between AF and MF. For Carson's 30th birthday I had a big surprise party and all my pix are blurry because I had it on MF and didn't know it. What kind of camera did you get?

If your camera has a reset option on the menu, I would do that before playing with the auto-focus. What kind of camera is it? You may just want to box it up, and exchange it. I have heard of this happening before. It might just be a lemon.

My camera has a setting for close up focus. If this setting is used everything is out of focus except for close photos (1 to 2 inches). I've really enjoyed my Olympus digital camera.
