Justin

Justin is such a good kid. He is curious, joyful, tender hearted, a good friend, and oh so handsome. I just love everything about him. He lives life with intensity. He still loves to see the morning and is great at doing all his morning chores so he can start about his business of living. He loves anything with a remote control and loves to ride anything - he has a bike, scooter, motorcycle, and skateboard. He is a great brother to Liam and Liam adores Justin. Anytime Liam catches a glimpse of Justin he belly laughs. It's the cutest thing. Justin is in swim team now and doing great. He is building up his endurance and can last most of a practice now. His lungs bug him quite a bit, but the coaches are patient with him. He starts basketball this week. He did a semester of art, but is trading that in to start the Viola. So help me. More music lessons. Yipes. We had a lot of asthma attacks this summer and fall. Too many. They were scarier then ever. He is on a hefty dose of daily steroid, but got to the point where we were using his rescue inhaler multiple times a day as well as doing nebulizer treatments. He did 3 rounds of oral steroids this summer/fall as well. We decided, under Drs recommendation to take the carpet out of his bedroom and get rid of the dog. It was a hard decision to get rid of Friday. He was a great dog, but honestly, I don't miss him much. So far we are asthma attack free, but it is also winter. Fingers are crossed for springtime. I couldn't love this boy more. He is so excited to get baptized in April and is diligently reading the Book of Mormon every day. He is a good example to those around him.
